These docks are located behind the Ghetto, the historic Jewish district of Venice, where are hidden magnificent synagogues.
Nowadays, this area is a typical working-class neighbourhood, with narrow streets, wells, and bridges, between the massive Campo del Ghetto Nuovo that overflows with outdoor cafés and terraces, and the Cannaregio Canal itself where you can catch a vaporetto.
Strada Nova—the throughway that divides Cannaregio and the Rialto district—is home to the San Leonardo market that is bustling from morning to night.
The apartment itself is easily accessible from the railway station or from Fondamenta Nuove stop.
The apartment
This second-floor apartment (no elevator) is a very bright (thanks to its double exposure) and spacious place (123m²). Its exposed beams, its ceiling height, its terrazzo floor and its layout are typical from Venetian palaces.
You enter the apartment directly in the wide living-room, central place of the apartment leading to all the other rooms.

It’s equipped with all the modern appliance you’ll need: fridge, freezer, cooker, oven, dish-washer, double sink. The kitchen also features a table with 4 chairs. The cookware is complete.
The 2nd door on the left of the entry leads to the 1st bathroom (4.50 m²). This room has light from a high window giving on the kitchen. It’s equipped with a sink, a bidet, a bath tube and WC.
The 3rd door of the living-room leads to the master bedroom (20.50 m²), a bright place thanks to its 2 large windows (East facing). It has a large double bed, 2 bedside tables, a wardrobe, a wooden desk with its chair, an armchair.
