The apartment is situated in a very central area, a stone’s throw from the Arno River, via Lungarno Amerigo Vespucci, and from Borgo Ognissanti, which will lead you to Florence's tourist and commercial hub (such as Via Tornabuoni and Piazza della Repubblica) within 15 minutes on foot.
The bustling working-class district of Il Prato overflows with boutiques and local food shops.
Santa Maria Novella central train station is nearby (5-minute walk), as is the park known as "Le Cascine," where the city's biggest market is held weekly.
The apartment
This lovely three-room, third floor apartment (65 m²) with no elevator access is part of the top floor of a former church. Arched ceilings and tasteful interior design lend charm to the apartment.
The entrance (5 m² - north facing) is via a hallway that leads to the living room, complete with a window that overlooks the street.
The living room (19 m²) itself has no windows but gets plenty of natural light from the entrance and the first bedroom. This room features a trundle sofa-bed, two armchairs, a coffee table, and a TV. There is a table and four chairs set up in the dining area.
The first bedroom (21 m² - south facing) is large and overlooks the street. It includes two single beds, two bedside tables, a dresser, an armchair, and a rattan chest.
The second, smaller bedroom (8 m² - south facing) also overlooks the street. It has a rattan bed, a bookcase, and an armoire.
The kitchen (8 m²) has a huge work surface, is fully equipped with all the modern conveniences (fridge, mini-oven, and gas stove), and has all the cooking and eating utensils you’ll need.
The bathroom (4 m²) is fitted with a shower, sink, bidet, and toilet. The bathroom window serves only to let air circulate in the room.
