Rome's centro storico (historic district) is full of life and is without a doubt, where the locals do their shopping. Via del Corso is a long street lined with shops that is closed off to vehicles on weekends. This street runs between the 2 main square of Rome : Piazza del Popolo and Piazza Venezia. Via del Babuino and Via Margutta run along the foot of the Pincian Hill and have been renowned for their art galleries and studios since the 15th century. Lastly, Piazza di Spagna and Via Condotti are without a doubt the places to go for all the top names in Italian and international fashion.
This neighborhood is called “Tridente” because of these 3 streets leading to Piazza del Popolo (Via della Ripetta, Via del Corso and Via del Babuino) make a trident shape.
The apartment itself is situated in a historic building on a small, quiet street lined with shops, near public transportation (metro and minibus) and within walking distance of St. Peter's Basilica (20 minutes), and the Capitoline and Borghese museums (30 minutes).
The apartment
TRIDENTE LAURINA is a modern and spacious 2-room apartment of 63,50 m², featuring air-conditioning, on the 3rd floor, with a kitchen in common use. It’s located within a set of 2 independent housings (this one + an independent bedroom). It has been fully renovated in a modern way.
We enter in this set of housings through a long corridor in L shape (17m²), with windows facing a courtyard.
In front of the entrance, you can find the kitchen in common use with the other bedroom (12 m², one window overlooking the courtyard, North facing - with air-conditioning), which is exclusively for your personal use (not for the other apartment). It’s modern and fully equipped: a refrigerator with a freezer, an oven, a microwave, a stove and a dishwasher. The cookware is complete. There is also a dining table with 6 chairs.
The second part of the corridor leads to the 2 independent bedrooms.
We get in TRIDENTE LAURINA through a small corridor (3,50 m²), at the end of the long L corridor. This small corridor leads on both sides to the 2 bedrooms.
On the left:
An entrance (4 m²) leads to the bedroom n°1 on one side and to the private bathroom on the other side.
The bedroom itself is big (16 m²). It’s decorated in grey and blue tones, which provides a peaceful atmosphere. This room is divided into 2 areas:
-The living area (no window) has 2 armchairs, a coffee table and a wardrobe. A mini fridge and a kettle is at your disposal.
-The night area (South – a window overlooking the street) has a double bed and 2 bedside tables.
The bathroom (4 m², no window) features a shower, a sink, a bidet, and WC.
On the right:
The entrance (4 m²) leads to the bedroom and to the private bathroom.
The living-room/bedroom n°2 itself is big (16.50 m²). It’s decorated in grey and yellow curry tones, which provides a cosy and warm atmosphere. This room is divided into 2 areas:
-The dining area (South facing – one window overlooking the street – which is quiet) has a table with 4 chairs. A mini fridge and a kettle is at your disposal.
-The living/night area (no window) has a double sofa-bed, 2 armchairs, a coffee table and 2 small tables.
The bathroom (3,20 m², no window) features a shower, a sink, a bidet, and WC.
