With Florence only 15 km away, you can easily make jaunts into the city as and when you feel like it, and then return to the peace and quiet of the countryside.
Culture and history lovers can get their fill in nearby Siena, only 50 km away.
Baruffi is only 3.5 km from Impruneta, famous for its terra cotta pottery. The manufacture of terra cotta tiles, pots, and bricks dates back to 1098, and continues to be a thriving craft today.
The apartment
The rustic feel of this quiet and charming second-floor apartment (75 m²) makes it the quintessential Tuscan apartment.
The large living room (14 m² - east facing) overlooks the olive grove and surrounding hills and is furnished with a table and chairs, an armchair, and a single sofa bed.
The kitchen (13m² - southeast facing) overlooks the olive grove and surrounding hills is fully equipped (oven, refrigerator) and has all the cooking and eating utensils you’ll need, as well as a table and chairs, and a fireplace.
The first bedroom (16 m² - north facing) overlooks the olive grove and surrounding hills and contains a double bed, two bedside tables, a dresser, a wardrobe, and an armoire.
The second bedroom (8 m² - southwest facing) is on the mezzanine and overlooks the barn. There are two single beds, a bedside table, a couple of chairs, and a wardrobe.
The bathroom (7 m²) is fitted with a bathtub, sink, and toilet.
