Campo San Bartolomeo is located at the foot of the Rialto bridge, in the historic center of Venice. From here, it’s an easy walk to all the most famous parts of the city: the Academia Museum (20 minutes by foot), Piazza San Marco (10 minutes by foot), the Rialto Bridge (1 minute)…
It is also a perfect meeting point for an early-evening cocktail in the numerous neighborhood baccari (traditional Venetian wine bars).
The neighborhood is served by the “Rialto” vaporetto stop. The entrance to the apartment is through a small, calm and removed courtyard. The apartment overlooks a small quiet street.
The apartment
Bartolo II is a quiet 1st floor 50m² walk-up, completely renovated, overlooking a typical Venetian street. This vintage apartment has preserved its Venitian charm (enhanced by the wooden beams), while providing all the comforts of modern living (air conditioning, radiant floor heating, etc.)
Bartolo II immerses you in the ambiance of old Venice and its palaces of the epoch, with their “Trifore” typical of the era.
The apartment is composed of a large living room separated from the sleeping area by a sliding door. A small hallway takes you to the bathroom, main bedroom and at the end, a second bedroom.
The living room (22m² - south-facing) has 4 large windows looking out over the Calle della Bissa and giving a feeling of space. It is furnished with a sofa, matching ottoman and a long low cabinet.
The kitchen area is completely integrated into the living space. It is fitted with a table and four chairs. The kitchen is well equipped with a gas oven, dishwasher, refrigerator and complete set of all necessary cooking utensils.
A sliding door leads to a small hallway (1.7m²), followed by another hall (1m²) that leads to the additional rooms.
The master bedroom (9m², 1 window overlooking the Calle della Bissa, southern exposure) is furnished with a big double bed, two colored stools acting as bedside tables, and an open wardrobe stand.
The second bedroom (12m², 1 window overlooking the Calle della Bissa, southern exposure) is L-shaped and has two large closets on either side of a trundle bed. The second bed can be positioned in the “L” part of the room where the window and sliding door lead to the master bedroom.
The bathroom/WC (4.5m²) is fitted with a shower, sink, bidet and WC. The top of the wall it shares with the living room is finished by a glass wafer to allow the light of day to shine through.
