The apartment is located in Chiaia, a middle-class neighbourhood in Naples, very central, between Via Caracciolo and Via Piedigrotta. A little market stands on Via Galiani.
While the Bourbon gardens offer a haven of peace during the day, the spectacular Via Caracciolo promenade is always bustling with Neapolitans in the evenings.
The apartment is very close to Villa Comunale and an aliscafi terminal where you can catch a hydroplane to Sicily.
With the subway within walking distance (Mergillina station) and a number of buses on Via Giordano Bruno, it’s easy to get to the city's historic centre and nearby areas. You can also take the funicular near Piazza Amedeo to get to Vomero.
The apartment
GALIANI is a quiet and charming 5th-floor, elevator-accessible small apartment (28 m²) in downtown Naples, featuring a large terrace with a beautiful view of Naples' bay and of Mount Vesuvius
The living area (16 m²) has a window and a glass-door leading to the terrace. It is divided into two areas:
- a living area with a sofa-bed, a coffee table, an armchair, a buffet and a TV with a DVD player.
- a kitchen area (on the window side) with all the cooking and eating utensils you’ll need, a gas stove, a fridge, an oven, a washing-machine and a dining table with 4 chairs.
The bedroom (9 m² - North facing on a building) features a double bed and a wardrobe.
The bathroom (3 m²) includes a shower, a sink, a bidet, and a toilet.
The terrace (21 m² - East facing) is facing the Gulf of Naples with the Mount of Vesuvius in the distance. It is fitted with a patio table, chairs, a deckchair and a sun umbrella.
