The nearby Campo San Giacomo dall’Orio, far from the tourist traps, is a haven of peace. In the summer you'll find children playing outdoors while their parents take shelter from the sun under the large trees.
This district, off of the beaten path and frequented by locals, is nonetheless only a 15 minute walk from the Rialto district and 10 minutes from Campo Santa Margherita, one of the busiest and most popular squares in all of Venice. The square is also home to lots of student bars.

The front hall (6.25 m²) leads to a main room (28.3 m² - southwest facing), which is divided into two separate spaces.
The dining room has a window and a French door that look out onto the private yard. There is a table, chairs, a buffet, and shelves.
The living room overlooks the private yard and contains a double sofa-bed, several tables, a trunk, and a CD player/radio.
The kitchenette is fully equipped with all the modern conveniences (electric oven, refrigerator, and gas stove) and has all the cooking and eating utensils you’ll need.
The bathroom (2.85 m²) is small and fitted with a sink, bidet, and toilet.
A table with chairs and a parasol are set up in the private yard (43 m²).
2nd floor
All rooms on the second floor are off of a hallway (4.8 m²).
The two windows in the first bedroom (17.2 m² - northeast facing) overlook the street. The room contains a double bed, two bedside tables, an armoire, and a dresser.
The en-suite bathroom (2.2 m²) overlooks the street and is fitted with a shower, a sink, and a toilet.
The second bedroom (11.8 m² - southwest facing) has two windows that overlook the yard and contains a double bed, two bedside tables, an armoire, and a chest.
A third bedroom (12.3 m²) has a glass door that leads to a small balcony (southeast facing), and a window that overlooks the yard (southwest facing). The room is furnished with two single beds, a bedside table, some shelves, a wardrobe, and a dresser.
