In the heart of Catania, this B&B is situated in a family palace built in 1910. It has since been fully renovated according to the unique style, taste, and elegance of the owner, a famous local painter. The B&B is ideally located on the edge of Catania's historic centre so everything is within walking distance: the old city is just 5 minutes away and the ocean, 10 minutes.
Catania, the second-largest city in Sicily after Palermo, is set on the east coast of the island, between the snow-capped peaks of Mount Etna and the Ionian Sea, halfway between Messina and Syracuse (an hour's drive from each). It’s the perfect starting point if you want to visit the east side of Sicily. The beautiful beaches of Taormina are a mere 45-minute drive away or an hour by bus. You can also catch a bus to the local beaches approximately three kilometres away.
Restaurants, coffee shops, movie theatres, stores, and all the main tourist attractions are a stone's throw from the B&B.
This B&B is a special place. Once a family apartment, it was tastefully and lovingly renovated from top to bottom and decorated with vintage pieces, including paintings by the owner herself.
There is a common living room in shades of red and blue, a common office, and a large lilac kitchen where buffet-style breakfast is served. There is even a small patio where you can relax when the weather is nice.
There are 4 guest rooms off the hallway. Each unique room includes air conditioning and a private bathroom.
